Ephesians 1:7
In him, we also have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in keeping with the riches of his grace.
Dear Lord Jesus,
You have blessed us with the gift of forgiveness of sins, which no amount of money could buy. You redeemed us with your holy blood, which is the only currency that will pay the high price of sin, which is death. Ours or any other human’s blood is tainted with sin, so it has no life, only mortality. But your blood is the holy lifeblood free from sin; whoever trusts in you has your blood, the antidote for all our sins. We receive this only by faith which we receive from the Holy Spirit. This is genuinely an underserved love—grace. Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us your lifeblood to redeem us entirely from our all sins. Amen.
