Psalm 150
Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in the expanse that shows his might. Praise him for his acts of power. Praise him according to his abundant greatness. Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn. Praise him with the harp and the lyre. Praise him with hand drums and dancing. Praise him with the strings and the flute. Praise him with the sounding cymbals. Praise him with loud cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for giving us all the different musical instruments to praise you. With songs, we should praise you. But why? First of all, because you tell us to. Second, for all you have done for us, why would we not want to? Lord, you redeemed us from death and the grave; we could not do this on our own. No matter what we would ever do would never undo our sins. We were born with sin already in our hearts, and we should have been thrown away like trash. Instead, you sent your Son to pay the price of our sins. What an incredible price he paid for us. He went to the cross and suffered our punishment, then gave his life to destroy death. For this, we should be dancing in the streets, singing your praises. Why because of the tremendous price paid for our freedom. We should sing at the top of our voices until we can sing no more, songs of joy out of love for what you have done for us. Amen.

May we all learn to clap our hands and sing for joy for all God has done for us. Make a joyful noise to the Lord!
