2 Corinthians 10:17-18
But let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord. To be sure, it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We have the forgiveness of sins! Our salvation is won! Eternal life is ours!
This is what we have to boast in, and none of this is our doing. Lord, you sent your Son to be the sacrifice for all our sins; there is nothing we could have done to win back our freedom from death. Christ’s holy life was all his doing; compared to us, our life is riddled with sins of thoughts, words, and actions. However, you give us credit for what your Son has done. The payment for our sins was death, but your Son’s death was innocent, and he gave up his life to pay our debt of sin. That was certainly not our doing, all your Son. Instead, Jesus has declared us not guilty because he paid for all our sins. Therefore, we are restored to you and made right with you by trusting in Jesus. We are confident of the promise of eternal life that comes from the faith you have placed in our hearts. Still, not our doing. But we get to boast because these gifts are all ours through the same faith in Christ Jesus, your Son. Father, thank you for giving us this gift of life. Amen.

There is only one path to heaven, and that is through Jesus; the key to unlocking heaven’s gate is his forgiveness for your sins. This is something to brag about.
