Matthew 28:20

[Jesus said] “And surely I am with you always until the end of the age.”

Dear Lord Jesus,

Your words give us great comfort that no matter where we are at, you are with us also. You spoke these words just before you ascended into heaven and departed this world; you gave your disciples instructions to go out into the world and share the gospel with others. Often this seems like a daunting task; we fear what people will say. What if we say the wrong thing, or they judge us, or they reject your message? What will we do? You tell us you will be with us until the end of the age. Please give me the courage to overcome all my fears and share the gospel message; how you saved me a condemned being and restored me to be right with the Father. Through your holy life, your suffering, and innocent death, I am no longer a condemned being but a child and heir to heaven through faith in you. Lord, help me remember you are always with me, and even time will not make a difference. Amen.
