Psalm 24:1-2

The earth is the Lord’s and everything that fills it, the world and all who live in it, because he founded it on the seas, and he established it on the rivers.

Dear Heavenly Father,

What a wonderful reminder that nothing is ours. All that we have is yours, and you give us what we need to sustain ourselves. Lord, I pray through your Holy Spirit you would continue to instruct me to be a good manager of the blessings you have given me. Moreover, instill in me how to properly support myself and my family while I am on this earth. Let me constantly be reminded you provide us with clothes, shelter, food, a spouse, and children, all for your good purpose so that we serve you in faith and trust. In the end, we will be with you in heaven. Please forgive me when I thought all this is mine, and I did not want to share your blessings with others.

Lord, you have given us so much more than physical blessings. You have given us the forgiveness of sins through Jesus’ death. His death has given us life and salvation, and this gift is more incredible than acquiring the entire world.

Thank you for reminding me that everything in this world is yours, including me. Please guide me to be content with all you have given me and know that the more excellent gift still awaits, and that is to be with you in heaven. Amen.

Manage all the Lord has given you to maintain and be content with what he has entrusted to you. Do not be afraid to share out of love for God and others, including your faith.
