1 Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful, who called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Even when we are unfaithful, you always remain faithful. Our sinful nature is always trying to pull us away from you, and when we give in to those desires, we are unfaithful. Still, you remain faithful to us. You knew us before we were even conceived; you knew how we would chase after the desires of our hearts more than we would chase after you; how we would love ourselves more than we love others. Despite our many sins, and because of our many failings, you sent your Son. You are faithful to us, providing all people with the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus. Through Jesus’s work—his holy life and innocent death—we are restored into your fellowship. Jesus has declared us, “Not Guilty!” Lord, thank you for loving us when we were unlovable. Please send your Spirit to be with us to share this good news of our fellowship with you to others. This gift is not just ours alone, but you intended it for all people; for you would have all people come to the knowledge of truth and be saved. Yet, we all have fears of uncertainty in sharing this gospel message with others; please help us overcome our fears and share our gift with others. Amen.

All of us are guilty of sinning, but our sins are forgiven through Jesus’ blood shed for us on the cross. Through faith, you are made right with God.
