2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, because my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will be glad to boast all the more in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may shelter me.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Paul pleaded with you to remove whatever was his thorn; in fact, he asked three times, and you told him your grace was sufficient for him. We are no greater than Paul. So whatever challenges we might be facing with our families, work, or health. Your grace is sufficient for us as well; because your power is made perfect in sustaining us. It is perfect in our weakness. We know the frailties of being human, the struggles and temptations we face every day. Still, you took on an even more significant challenge, and that was our sin. There was no way out except by your forgiveness, love, and mercy. You endured the punishment, the mocking, the spitting, the ridicule, the beatings, the flogging, and the cross, all for our sins. Through your death, you defeated death for us; we can all expect that one day our lives on earth will end; however, that is not our end. But our beginning, that is our victory over death, we will spend the rest of eternity with you. Through the forgiveness—you won—we receive salvation and eternal life, and this is a free gift through faith, given to us by the Holy Spirit whom you sent to us. Lord, your power was demonstrated in the weakness of our sin that while we deserved eternal death, you gave us life. And you continually validate your might by assisting us through our frailty as people. May, we like Paul, boast about your power that comes to us in your grace, mercy, and love. Amen.

When we are weak, Christ is strong. Our God stands far superior to any problems that come our way. Remember, he has taken on the worst difficulty you could face, and that was your sin. Everything else for God is minor.
