1 Chronicles 16:23-27
Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Proclaim the good news of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his wonderful acts among all the peoples, for great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are not gods at all. But the Lord made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and joy are in his place.
Dear Heavenly Father,
You are great and glorious, for you sent your Son here to save us from all our sins. The Old Testament’s good news was looking forward to the promise of Jesus who would come, bringing salvation. Our good news is remembering the fulfillment of that promise, how Jesus died on the cross so that we have eternal life. Salvation came only in this forgiveness of sins Jesus won for both Old Testament believers and us. In God’s love is where true peace is found. There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus; all other roads are dead ends, all leading to eternal death. Any different ways mankind might come up with are fallacies, ideas that lead to false gods. How do we know the truth? It is by faith that you have created in us. We see all the universe around us and realize there had to be a master designer, and that was you. Lord, you are such a marvelous God who fills all the universe, more extraordinary than anything we could imagine. Yet, so intimate that you know our every thought, every heartbreak we face, and all the pain we have. Your Spirit is always within us, who believe. To you, we honor, giving you thanks and praise for all the great things you have done. Amen.

Forgiveness of sins, the removal of guilt, and eternal life are for all people but are only delivered through faith in the one who has won the gift for you. That is why he is deserving of all our honor, glory, and praise.
