1 Corinthians 1:7-9

As a result, you do not lack any gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also keep you strong until the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for providing all we need to survive this life waiting for Jesus’ second coming; as Paul said, we eagerly wait for His revelation. While we wait for Christ to come again, create opportunities to share the good news of Jesus with others. You have promised us that you will keep us strong until the end, but that is not in just doing our own thing but being fed by your means of grace; you support and sustain our faith to trust in you through your word. You are faithful to us, and you demonstrated this by providing all that we need to be blameless to the end. You sent your Son to us to remove all our sins, which were forgiven through his holy life and innocent death on the cross. We have been restored to you through faith in Jesus and his work, and you see us as blameless. Then you sent your Holy Spirit that by believing in Jesus, we would be saved. Salvation came through faith, and you began this in us through your word; so that we believe what Christ has done. Lord, please keep your Spirit in us so we will remain in your word. It is through our fellowship with Jesus that we have life. Strengthen our faith, so we always stay in you. Please give us situations to share the good news of salvation with others. Amen.
