Psalm 134
Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand in the house of the Lord at night. Lift up your hands toward the sanctuary and bless the Lord. May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion.
Dear Lord God,
We praise you for all the blessings that you have given to us. You created the people of this world to serve you, and we praise you for the great things you have done as our God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We praise you for creating and sustaining us. Every day you provide us with the blessing of home, food, clothing, and families. You have also provided for our spiritual needs by Jesus taking on human flesh and becoming like us. He was tempted in every way we have been allured. However, he lived his life perfectly, without sin. We bless you because Jesus took all our sins to the cross with him; he suffered our punishment for sin so that we would be redeemed. We have been restored to you. We praise you for your Holy Spirit, who creates and sustains our faith in us through your word and sacraments. You have provided us with pastors and teachers to share your holy scripture with us, and your word daily increases our faith in you. So we lift our hands in prayer to you for all you have done for us and ask you for a continued blessing on us. Increase our love for you and others that we might bless you by sharing your gifts with those who have not heard. Lord God, we praise you today for all that you have done. Amen.

We praise God because he has forgiven all our sins, they should send us to hell, but through faith, we are saved. Eternal life is ours!
