Psalm 16:5-6

Lord, you are the cup that has been given to me. You have secured an allotment for me. The property lines chosen for me fall in pleasant places. Yes, a delightful inheritance is mine.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your plan of salvation, which Jesus has secured for us. Our salvation is an inheritance; there is nothing we do to receive it. The testator—the will’s writer—dies, the intention is read, and the inheritor gets the estate. If the inheritor hears the words and believes what was written, they enjoy their gift. The inheritor brought nothing into the equation; it was the love of the testator that determined everything. However, suppose the inheritor does not believe what they have heard; their unbelief does not make the will less valid. In that case, it only means they refuse to receive the gift that is rightfully theirs, and they never get the enjoyment of the estate.

Your plan of salvation is an inheritance for all people. It was through Jesus’ death that our heavenly allotment came to us. His death gave us the complete forgiveness of all our sins; without any condition on our part. Jesus secured this for me with his holy precious blood. On the night Jesus died, he drank the cup of suffering that was intended for all sinners, and he took my sins into himself. Those not believing this; do not make the gift any less theirs, but it remains an unclaimed gift. The inheritance is my estate in heaven; thank you for establishing the property lines to my heavenly estate. Because Jesus removed my entire debt of sin, I was restored back to you. Jesus’ forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life are delivered to me through faith in him who died. Thank you for your plan of my salvation and inheritance. What a message to share with others; their estate is waiting for them. Amen.

Believe it is true, Jesus died for you; your estate is waiting and is claimed by faith in him.
