Revelation 7:9-10
After these things, I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing in front of the throne and of the Lamb, clothed with white robes and with palm branches in their hands. They called out with a loud voice and said: Salvation comes from our God, who sits on the throne, and from the Lamb.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today we remember all the saints who have gone before us and are there with you in heaven. A multitude that no one can count from every tribe and nation clothed in robes of white. From heaven, they shared with John how they arrived to be a part of the body of Christ—his Church. It was nothing they had done but the salvation that Jesus had won. For the Old Testament believers, faith in the One who was to come—the Christ. For New Testament believers, faith in the One who fulfilled the Old Testament promises—the Lamb slain on the cross. Jesus willingly allowed himself to be sacrificed for all our sins; he suffered and died so that all who believed in him would be saved. Salvation only comes through Jesus’ forgiveness.
While we are still here on this earth, we, too, are saints of his kingdom—heirs of eternal life. Please send to us and all believers your Holy Spirit. So we will cling to Jesus’ forgiveness he won for us and be numbered with the saints already celebrating their victory in heaven. Please grant us opportunities to share the good news of Jesus’ forgiveness with those who are hurting and lost. So that your Spirit would use that gospel message to begin faith in them, and they would be numbered with saints. Amen.

Today remember those who have gone before you and are in heaven. They are there because of the blood of the Lamb that washed their sins away; Jesus’ forgiveness for their sins. His forgiveness is also for you.
