Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, because he is rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for your plan of salvation with which you have saved us. Nothing we do sets us apart from others or qualifies us; instead, it is entirely out of your love and mercy that you make salvation possible for everyone. It is because of your rich mercy. While we were still hostile towards you, and your enemies, our sins pushed us away from you; you sent your Son to suffer for our punishment and to die on the cross for our every sin. As Paul wrote, we were dead in our trespasses and made alive with Christ. Your Son did not remain in the grave but was raised on the third day, and in his resurrection, we know you have accepted his payment for our sins. So that whoever believes in Christ; he will raise them from death to eternal life. These gifts—forgiveness, eternal life, and salvation—come to us from your love through faith alone. Lord, nothing makes us worthy to come to you today except our Savior, Jesus. So we pray that you forgive us all our sins according to your grace and mercy. And we thank you for restoring us to you and making us alive in Christ. We ask that we will be able to share your love with others because you have demonstrated your love and mercy to us. So please provide us an open door to share your love and mercy with someone who does not know you; that they, too, will be saved by your grace alone. Amen.

You receive God’s grace and mercy by faith alone in Jesus. Jesus has already paid the price for your sins, and by believing in Jesus, you will be saved.
