Hebrews 11:3
By faith we know that the universe was created by God’s word, so that what is seen did not come from visible things.
Dear Heavenly Father,
It goes beyond our comprehension to consider the universe not being, with no space, time, or matter. While we cannot understand this, you have explained creation in your Word, and we see the proof of your creative work in the universe around us. We hear your words and how you created everything through the power of your spoken word out of nothing, and we believe what you have said by faith. We thank you for creating us in your image, and while we have tarnished that perfect image by sin, what we say is effective. For those whose mindset is positive and comments are positive, it seems positive things come their way, while others with negative thoughts and words seem to bring negative consequences.
Lord, just as we know and trust that You created the universe, we also believe You restored us to You by Your Son. All people fell into sin when our first parents desired to be their own god, and sin continues to push us away from you as our pride still affects us, causing us to be loveless towards others around us. Lord, thank you for sending us Jesus, who has redeemed us by his death on the cross. It is in His death you have restored life to your creation. Please strengthen our faith that our hearts are changed in ways we don’t even see and that we will reflect Jesus’ mercy, love, and forgiveness to those around us. Let your love shine through us so that others will want to know you and your love for them. Amen.

It is incredible to know that God brought everything into being from nothing; where there is no faith, he begins it through water and his Word. God wants all people to know that his Son Jesus died for all their sins and that by faith in Jesus, you will have eternal life.
