Psalm 30:4-5
Make music to the Lord, you his favored ones, and give thanks when you remember his holiness, for we spend a moment under his anger, but we enjoy a lifetime in his favor. In the evening, weeping comes to stay through the night, but in the morning, there is rejoicing!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You today for the peace You gave us through Your Son. Before someone has faith, they may not even realize their sins but feel the guilt and shame that comes from them. That feeling of being stuck with no way out, so they turn to self-soothing remedies to overcome their nagging conscience from sin. Somewhere in each person’s sub-conscience is knowing they are accountable to You, and so without being in your peace is that moment of Your anger because You are holy.
Our sins push us away from You, yet it is Your will for all people to be saved. For this reason, Your Son willingly came to remove all those sins which push us away from You. Jesus’ death on the cross was to restore us to Your good favor by removing our sins; His forgiveness is a gift to all who believe in Him. Faith is the only way to be restored and given true peace: being united with You. So we sing praises, knowing and trusting the salvation Jesus won for us because we will spend eternity with Him and You in heaven by simply believing in Him.
Lord, we pray that we can share this message of peace with many people, and we ask that You send Your Holy Spirit to them to change their hearts so they know and trust in You. So that by Jesus’ death, they will be forgiven, and for Jesus’ sake, they will spend eternity rejoicing and singing Your praise in heaven with You. Amen.

Therefore, sing God’s praise knowing that He would have all people to know, trust, and have faith in Him because all your guilt and shame are removed since Jesus has forgiven all your sins through His holy, perfect life, innocent suffering and death, and glorious resurrection.
