1 Corinthians 1: 7-9
As a result, you do not lack any gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also keep you strong until the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for providing all we need to survive this life, waiting for Jesus’ second coming; as Paul said, we eagerly await His revelation. While we wait for Christ to come again, create opportunities to share the good news of Jesus with others.
You have promised that You will keep us strong until the end, but that is not in just doing our own thing but being fed by Your means of grace; You support and sustain our faith to trust in You through Your word. You are faithful to us, demonstrating this by providing all we need to be blameless.
For this reason, You sent Your Son to us to remove all our sins, which were forgiven through his holy life and innocent death on the cross. We have been restored to You through faith in Jesus and his work; Jesus has passed on His righteousness to and has covered us in his perfection, so You see us as blameless.
Then you sent your Holy Spirit that by believing in Jesus, we would be saved. Salvation comes to each person through faith; it is personal, which You began in us through Your word so that we believe what Christ has done, and there we are reunited with You by faith in Jesus.
Please keep Your Spirit in us so we will remain in Your word. Through our faith, we are in fellowship with Jesus and have life. Please strengthen our faith so we always stay in You and place us in situations where we can share the good news of salvation with others. Amen.
