Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we should pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that are not expressed in words.
Dear Heavenly Father,
You know that we have times when the world seems to be closing in on us, and we don’t know where to begin with asking you for help. But, as Paul wrote in our weakness, the Spirit is our intercessor, deciphering our thoughts and concerns. He brings those requests before you on behalf of all who believe and trust in Jesus as their Savior.
Lord, in this world, we are weak and fail; we deal with guilt and shame from the loveless acts we think, say, and do. Not one of us is perfect. We all suffer from sin, which results in death. However, Jesus defeated death when he went to the cross and suffered for all our sins; so that whoever believes in him he gives eternal life. He has removed our greatest problem, sin. So we can come before you now, knowing you will hear us for Jesus’ sake. And when things get so overwhelming that we don’t know what to ask for, we have an intercessor who prays on our behalf—your Spirit.
Lord, we pray that your word will go out to those who do not know about Jesus, and we pray that your Spirit will begin faith in them so that when they are overwhelmed with challenges, they too can come before you and present their requests. Amen

Trust in the Lord; he has forgiven you all your sins. And when you are stuck not knowing what to ask, ask for help, and the Spirit will intercede for you. It is as simple as praying, “Lord help me!”
