Isaiah 55:10-11
Just as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and do not return there unless they first water the earth, make it give birth, and cause it to sprout, so that it gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, in the same way my word that goes out from my mouth will not return to me empty. Rather, it will accomplish whatever I please, and it will succeed in the purpose for which I sent it.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray that your word goes out today and brings change to many hearts, nurturing new faith in those who read it. Please let it accomplish your purposes and help us understand its intention, as well as your will for us.
We have all fallen into sin and are affected by it, resulting in death, which manifests through sickness, accidents, disease, old age, or other means. Your word tells us that the wages of sin is death, but you have given us the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus, who has forgiven all our sins.
While you have given us the gift of eternal life, it doesn’t mean we are immune to suffering. We suffer because of sin, but even in the midst of suffering, you provide us with a way out. Through your word, we understand your love for us, the mercy you show us, and the grace that comes to us through faith in Jesus.
May all who read this prayer realize the love you have for them, and may their hearts be open to trusting in Jesus as their Savior. Crush the hardness of unbelief and help them to know you as their loving God and friend. Amen.

God’s will is for you to know him. He has given us his word to show his love for us. He loved us so much that he sent his Son to suffer and die in our place so that we can trust that all our sins are forgiven and that through forgiveness, we have salvation and eternal life.
