Hebrews 4:14-16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest, who has gone through the heavens, namely, Jesus the Son of God, let us continue to hold on to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin. So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for reminding us that you know what we are going through; all the temptations and trials we go through daily you also went through. However, You did it without sinning. You are our high priest, going before the Father, pleading on our behalf, because you have paid the punishment for all our sins. Your perfection you credited to us and covered those who believe and trust in you with your righteousness. Even as believers, we go through temptations, and often we fail; then, we face our guilt because we should have known better and made better choices. However, all is not lost; your forgiveness covers our sins. We turn back to the cross with repentant hearts and lay our sins before your throne, with confidence we know you have already forgiven us. Our guilt you have removed, and we are restored to your peace. Let us share the peace of forgiveness with those who do not know you that they too may come to the knowledge of truth and be delivered from their sins as well. There they will bask in the joy of forgiveness and the sure hope of everlasting life through You, their Savior. Strengthen our faith through your word that we will hold on to our confession of you. Amen.

When you struggle with sin and trials, take it to the one who has already perfectly endured all temptations because he knows what you are going through.
