Hebrews 4:14-16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, namely, Jesus the Son of God, let us continue to hold on to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin. So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for coming to this earth to be tempted in every way like us. We can never say you have no idea how hard it is here on this earth because you walked here. You know us; you know our pain, suffering, and sin. For this reason, you came here and took on flesh to be our atoning sacrifice for our sins. When you came here, you suffered at the hands of men; your ministry was criticized, you were mocked and ridiculed. Still, you were without sin. You went to the cross, giving up your life for us so our sins would be forgiven. Now, you are our high priest standing on our behalf before the Father, and this is your throne of grace that you loved us when we were unlovable, showering us with the forgiveness of sins. We can now bring all our cares and concerns to you, and you are ready to listen, then take them to the Father. As Peter wrote, “Cast all your cares on him because he cares for you.” Lord, thank you for being our high priest and knowing what it means to suffer. We now bring all our cares and concerns to you:
If it would be your will, provide us with opportunities to share our confession of you with others, with those who have not heard of you or have not come to you for some time. Amen.

Jesus was empathetic with us walking this earth. Since he died an innocent death for us, can we really fully understand the cost of our sins? He died for every sin.
