Luke 12:32
Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Jesus spoke these words to address worry. We can find ourselves troubled by a variety of issues, such as news reports, health concerns, family troubles, car breakdowns, or even clothing and food. Yet, Jesus reassured us not to worry or be afraid because this life is not about material possessions.
While our concerns are genuine, you reassure us that you will be with us no matter what comes our way. You are far superior to any problem we face, so we turn to you instead of fearing those challenges. You know our needs before we even recognize them and have answers before we ask.
Lord, you have addressed an even more profound issue: we faced eternal death due to our sins. You sent Jesus to conquer our sins in everything we think, say, and do, as well as all the worries the world would throw at us. He went to the cross and became sin for us to defeat sin, death, and the Devil. We trust in faith that Jesus has forgiven us, and we cast our cares on you. You have withheld nothing from us; your kingdom is ours, and as Jesus said, you were pleased to grant it to us.
Thank you for sending your Son to conquer sin, death, and the Devil so we can have peace, joy, and hope. These are ours because of Christ’s work. He died on the cross for all our sins, granting us forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. Strengthen our faith so we can confidently release all our worries and have everlasting peace through being united with you.
Please let us share our peace with those who do not know you. Create faith in their hearts so that they, too, will become part of your little flock, having salvation and eternal life, and become heirs of heaven. Amen.

Jesus instructed us to cast our cares and burdens on him; since he has told us this, he will keep his word and take care of all our concerns. Do not be afraid; by faith in Jesus, God has given you His kingdom.
