Psalm 133
Look, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like the precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew from Hermon running down on the mountains of Zion. For there, the Lord commands this blessing: life to eternity.
Dear Heavenly Father,
It is always good when, as believers, we are united, and this starts at home with the family. You made us to be individuals with our thoughts, ideology, and opinions. Understanding this does not mean we compromise on your truths or allow preferences to influence your word. “Well, what I think” does not unite one another in your word. Instead, “But, what God’s word says” should be our mantra and demonstrate Christ’s love by carefully studying your scripture and instruction.
Lord, keep us united in your Word. Be with the church so we will always hold you up as the pinnacle of what is essential. Unity does not mean compromising on the truths of what you teach or accepting what is false. As brothers and sisters in the church, we study Your Word together; we use Your Word as a guide and rule to overcome our differences. Then, in love for one another, we bow our pride to you and your Word; please let these truths reign in us.
Lord, through your Son, we have a common bond of love. Christ came to this world and died for us when we roamed in the chaos of sin; he forgave us all our sins. You know how divisive this world has become, so we pray that you send workers out so that they can share the true gospel message of love with those who do not know you. Lord, until they get here, send us out to share the good news of your salvation with those who do not know you. Because you give us this blessed command: life to eternity. We have life through faith in our Savior, who died for all our sins.
Therefore, we pray: Keep us united in and around Jesus and your word and be with us to work out any differences we might have with others. Amen.

The Devil knows that if he can cause divisions, he can cause a united house to fall. So, remain grounded in God’s Word and united in His love. God has forgiven you all your sins, including your pride, and has restored you to life eternal.
