Psalm 25:4-5
Make known to me your ways, O Lord. Teach me your paths. Make me walk in your truth and teach me, because you are the God who saves me. In you, I hope all day long.
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we live in the world, it attempts to devise many ways to overcome all the world’s problems, like placing the blame on those who are different. Or they like to get in touch with one’s inner self to be a better person today to make up for what they did yesterday. While being better is excellent, it still does not address the sins in people’s lives, the sins we have committed, or the guilt or shame that remains in our hearts. You have given us our consciences to know the difference between right and wrong; this is a natural knowledge about you.
In your word, you reveal who you are and your will for us. You want all people to know and trust you, but you do not force anyone to believe in you. You make your ways known to us. We are all sinful beings; none of us is innocent, so you established your plan of salvation to restore us to you. You sent your Son to take all our sins into himself on the cross; you punished him in our place. He has redeemed all people through his suffering and innocent death, and his salvation comes to all those who believe in him. Your path to redemption is the only way to heaven, revealed in your word. The gift is delivered by faith alone in Jesus.
So we pray that you will always keep us in faith and strengthen us daily with your Word so that we will trust in Jesus and confidently believe in your path and will for us. You save us with your love and mercy; let us always hold on to you and share this good news of salvation with those who do not yet know you so they will also know your ways. Amen.

There is only one way to heaven; God has made it known to all in his word; it comes to us by faith alone in Jesus, his Son.
